First impressions are everything, especially when it’s your health you’re placing into the hands of a medical professional, be it a doctor or a dentist.
As a private dental practice, we understand that patients are (rightly) becoming more discerning about their dental treatment. The personal touch is everything. Patients want to feel cared for as an individual rather than ‘just another patient through the door’.
For our team at Denpure, this isn’t a new concept. We have always and will continue to be patient-orientated. And, this philosophy extends from your very first visit at the front desk, to your consultations and routine treatments, through to aftercare.
In a world of digitisation, it’s no wonder we’re all looking for more positive face-to-face interactions, and this extends to when we engage with a service like going to the dentist.
Here at Denpure, our reception team have been hand-selected for their love of people. There’s no “computer says no” mentality here (for those who remember the listless receptionist in comedy sketch show Little Britain!)
Our reception team will always make the concerted effort to call you by your name, and to speak to you like an actual human being…. because is there anyone who enjoys being on the receiving end of the ‘fake reception voice’ in 2025?!
In short, the Denpure reception team are vivacious people who provide a concierge-like service to help you feel at home every time you visit.
One of patients’ biggest fears about coming to see the dentist is the fear of judgement if they haven’t seen the dentist in some time.
At Denpure, we will never, ever pass judgement on the condition of your teeth and gums when you come in to see us. We understand that everyone’s livelihoods are different and that circumstances can shift, affecting your ability to look after your oral health.
What we will instead do is:
We understand how much atmosphere and ambiance have an impact on patients. No-one wants to walk into a clinical setting that feels chaotic, stressful and disorganised.
Our front-of-house and clinical teams work like cogs in a well-oiled wheel.
Our team is a tight-knit group that work exceptionally well together, which makes for a relaxing practice atmosphere (because there’s nothing worse than a stressed team when you walk into a medical setting for an appointment!)
Our clinical team (dentists, oral surgeons, dental technicians, hygienist and dental nurses) follow strict protocols to ensure multifaceted treatments involving more than one clinical team member are carried out in a timely and accurate manner.
No matter how well planning systems and workflows are organised in private medical settings, there will always be moments when timings can be affected by issues such as a high volume of emergencies or staff shortages, for example.
We will always be frank with you if things are running a little later than planned.
If you are not able to see your regular dentist for your check-up, we will let you know with plenty of advance notice. The reception team will give you the option of re-booking with your regular dentist or going ahead with your scheduled appointment with another dentist.
Rest assured, all of our dentists are diligent when reading the patient notes and details of those who are not usually under their care. No matter which dentist you see at Denpure, you can expect an extremely high standard of care and attention to detail.
We are currently accepting new patients from the Uxbridge area and beyond. We are within easy reach of patients coming from central London, and we also care for patients looking for a dentist in Berkshire, Sussex and Surrey, as well as a dentist in Uxbridge.
It’s a privilege to care for all of our patients, whether you’re coming to us from around the corner, or travelling cross-county to come and see us. No matter where you’re coming from, we promise to make you feel safe, settled and looked after each time you visit.
Been a while since our last routine appointment? Book here. Or maybe you want to discuss a specific treatment? Contact us. We look forward to seeing you.
