Consultation: you will need to attend a consultation with one of our aesthetic practitioners, who will ask you to complete a medical form. All angles of your facial profile will be examined, and we will assess the texture of your skin, and identify the areas where skin volume has been lost. We will also encourage you to raise any questions or concerns you have, and a consent form is provided.
Treatment appointment: we can then book you in for your dermal fillers treatment appointment, which should take only 15-30 minutes.
Dermal fillers can create a lifting effect in the cheek region, which is vulnerable to hollowing when the ageing process starts. The fillers add extra volume, shaping the face and leaving you with a more youthful profile.
Dermal fillers can also be used to augment, plump the top lips, accentuating their curvature, and contouring the edges.
The dermal fillers we use are gel-based hyaluronic fillers. This substance is responsible for drawing in moisture to the dermis and exists naturally within the skin. In the years before your 30s, hyaluronic acid levels are high. Once into your 30s, the skin needs an extra helping hand to retain moisture. Dermal fillers offer that helping hand, providing a natural solution for defying age-related skin volume loss.
Dermal fillers take a few days to integrate with your skin, so the full effects should be seen within 1-2 weeks. They will naturally be broken down by the body over 6-9 months. If you want to maintain a youthful-look in the long-term, we recommend top-ups every 4-6 months.
